Rules of Adopting from the OAC
| 1. Go onto the Ojee mailing list, where I post my updates to the site. You snooze, you lose, after all. 2. To adopt, click on the period at the very end of this page. This will take you to a form that you must fill out in order to apply for the critter you want! 3. When filling out the form, you must have a website you are putting the critter on. Neopets, Subeta, Aftermathzone, and other popular interactive pet websites are not allowed- your entry will be deleted if you sign up with a URL from one of those. Why? Because those sites get thousands of visits a day, and art theft is extremely common. I put lots of love into this project, and don't want to see some person rip off one of them! Good sites to register for websites are: geocities, yahoo, angelfire, tripod and so on. If you don't know HTML, there's plenty of sites online that can teach you very easily! 4. The image and stats of the critter you adopt must be up on your webpage within two weeks- or I will take the critter back- being the creator of these things, I have the power to do so and will gladly. Likewise, your critter will definitely be taken back if the site goes down and I have not heard from you with a plan to post it elsewhere. 5. All creatures from the Ojee Adoption Center may be used to roleplay on the Magic Isle Forum, or used as 'companions' to original characters. This has become increasingly more popular, and I'm glad to see it happening. They may also be used to be candidates or sponsors for dragons as well! They may not be used to roleplay on the aforementioned websites! 6. All things said, have fun! This is what the site's here for. |
