Rithi

The northern riardi inevitably came across the manticore rhylsh'aat-evolved Intirrians known as the rhogathi. Through trade and good understanding of one another, kinship sparked despite the riardi's vast differences as a people who had traveled to the rhogathi's cold lands and had adapted. The larger, brawnier rhogathi found and respected the capabilities of the northern riardi, and found a harmonious dynamic which enabled both to thrive. The rithi were one such result. They developed much greater muscle mass and bone density from their rhogathi heritage, and have raw strength tempered in that their jumping capability is poorer than the average riardi. The rithi are credited with bringing forth the tiger and leopard patterns to the riardi gene pool.

Rithi have inherited rhogathi's excessive spikes- they bear lengthy, curved hooks on their shoulders, elbows, nd hocks. They have leathery, thick bands, like the rhogathi have on their torsos, and have white, blue, or grey irises. They have venom-bulb-tipped tails, rather than the tail-head from their riardi heritage, but their venom is potent. Rithi are immune to their own stings, but rhogathi and riardi are not immune to it nor its high concentration. Curiously, specific amounts of this venom can serve as an antidote to rhogathi, riardi, and rithi venom. Their fur is plush, thick, and sheds ice crystals like rhogathi fur does.
