Riasax

Riasax are the offspring of riardi and the Intirrians known as the diasaxxis- phoenix-like elves. Riasax tails are half of their body height in length, produce a powdery, sooty substance which can ignite upon contact with several different substances, and can ignite into a fiery tail which does not affect them but can affect their environments if they so wish, as this fire is considered magical in nature, rather than the physical fire other creatures in the dimension may have. They have bird-like feet rather than paws, owing to their diasaxxis heritage, and they have large spurs. They have vestigial spikes from their riardi genetics, and these contain small openings and channels from which spurt magical fire at their will. Their heads are adorned with sprays of feathers which grow around their ear canals. Riasax, like diasaxxis, are born from eggs and similarly must be kept warm until they hatch.

They are gear-heads, enjoying urban environments, and often hang out in machinery-rich areas, such as with the Ayama elves. Technological progression fascinates the riasax, and they are forward-minded, spirited beings. Despite the diasaxxis' prophecy about becoming phoenixes, the riasax will not experience the same phenomenon how their diasaxxis relatives do. They will instead gain the ability to shape-shift into a winged ni'perafi made of magical fire.
