Northern
Northern riardi are referred to as angora riardi for the fact that their bodies evolved over time from the southern body type in order to thrive in colder, mountainous climates, which they enjoy. Their head and tail hair is twice as long as southern riardi's, and is not crimped like central riardi. The fur on their ears and necks resembles tufts and a mane. They have thick fur which provides them with warmth and comfort, and they have found their shed hair and fur- once spun- makes excellent fiber resources.
Among the northern riardi populations, many excellent spinners, weavers, and fiber artists thrive. They produce ample textile products as a result, and this has brought them great wealth. The northern riardi thus enjoy a great quality of life and good relations with many other Intirrians in the region.
