Central
Central riardi have populations from both northern and southern heritage in Ahnkanan and Kalankra on Intirri. They are perhaps the most open-minded and adventurous of all riardi, and tend to stay along similar latitudes rather than reside further north or south. They love long hours of sunlight. Their ears are short, and much narrower with either rounded or pointed tips. Their tails are short, and their venom is the same as southern and northern riardi.
These riardi are immediately recognizable by their thinnest ear width and their fur being frizzle- single-coated, with slight to ample crimps in the hairs. Their head hair may likely also be wavy, curly, or of a relatively shorter length (shoulder-length and shorter) rather than grow long.
Central riardi tail fur also has crimps and serves as an excellent fiber for creating yarn; many will readily spin yarn and plant fibers in their spare time. The fur is growing from their shoulders and upper arms is crimped, long, and wild. Their tail venom is the same as that of southern and northern riardi- being hallucinogenic in effect. They do not produce sap. Central riardi joke that their fur has become permanently frizzled from being outdoors in high winds for too long.
